Louisiana taxes the lease payments. When you buy, the Office of Motor Vehicles collects tax on the price minus trade-in and rebate, based on where the car lives. We will run the tax on your deal.
The paperwork is the same either way.
There is a title fee, a small fee to record a loan, a handling fee, and sometimes a local fee. Plates are based on your car’s value and sold two years at a time.
